I suspect the money paid to the pharmaceutical companies has been plugged into the 2020 and 2021 budget deficits. So...there it is. Did it come out of our pockets? In prior years taxes. Are we going to be paying in more tax dollars in the coming years to cover it? Not that I know of. Did those who decided to get vaxxed instead of shooting up Lysol have to take money out of their household budgets to pay for the shots? No. Ask any American what it cost them to be vaccinated...they will tell you, nothing. Do you like where all your tax dollars go? Neither do I. Am I complaining that some of my tax dollars went toward covid vaccinations of Americans who were smart enough to get them? No I am not.
